I know this video is a little old, I see in almost all your vids where you sand you use glass under the sand paper. Is there a specific reason you do this?

I found alchol would leave weired residue on my dice when cleaning the paint, i switched to using plain baby wipes to clean my dice and it works great with no sticky residue

Great video man! If you were going to try it again I may suggest mixing some purple resin and clear resin and do almost a dirty pour with it, or pour it in sections.

Maybe doing a dual pour would help with making the whispies?

making the numbers out of metal on sprues that you put into the mold and then filling in the shapes with resin could be really cool

Just randomly came acrossy feed two hears later and not even on april fools. I was so confused.

"I've got my Shop Time sticker on there so that's guaranteed that these dice are gonna come out well" lol... hopefully that's not foreshadowing. PS: to get less ink, use a smaller dropper, like a pipette. You could even try picking it up with something like a paint brush, q-tip, or even a toothpick, and dripping into the form from there.

My favorite thing to clean off dice with is a white zona paper. They don't get all that annoying fuzzy material on the dice because of the tight weave of the paper. And they're reusable for quite a few rounds of cleaning until they start to shred.

Is there a reason you're choosing to fill the whole die through the hole? I would have filled up most of the die without the cap, then put on the cap, and then used the hole for the last bit. It feels too me like you would have introduced fewer bubbles that way. But I'm not exactly speaking from experience, so maybe I'm missing something very obvious... Edit: you did just that right after the bit where I posted my comment. For very different reasons, though.

No clue if it would actually work but maybe a microfiber cloth like a glasses cleaning cloth would help clean the fuzz off the dice

I'm finding it so funny how since you got the shell molds, every other vid the best solution is always she'll dice xD. Makes me want to get a set of those molds

Hey Rybo! I think I found something you might like to try. Folkflrt Dragonfly glaze color changing acrylic paint. I tried to ink some dice with it, and the blue green gold shift paint made the numbers look like iridescent fools gold. You gotta try it!

That bronze ink was the icing on the dice. I am going to need to order some of that!

For the wispies, I'm fighting the same fight! But I'm using opaques so its nightmareish 😂 It seems to mix during the insertion, so I've thought of a couple of ideas; 1. Let it thicken before adding the pigment. This should make it harder for the two to mix. 2. Pour a tiny amount of resin, add a tiny amount of pigment, then add the insert and do a pour of pre-ink dropped resin to try and fill it. Risky, but could give better control over wispies. For either, though, I'm thinking less ink. The shells are so thin!
